The Lindab Magestic Half Round Gutter (100mm x 3m) is an advanced rainwater solution designed for homeowners and professionals seeking extreme corrosion resistance in challenging environments, particularly coastal regions. Engineered with a proprietary magnesium-zinc alloy coating, it provides up to 20 times the corrosion protection of standard galvanised steel while maintaining an eco-friendly profile. Users should note that the finish undergoes a natural transformation, shifting from a bright metallic shine to a sophisticated dark grey appearance over the first 3-5 years of exposure.

No, the Magestic finish is a specific metallic alloy coating designed to weather into a dark grey appearance over 3-5 years.
Yes, the magnesium-zinc coating is specifically formulated to resist chlorine and salt, making it excellent for marine environments.
The Lindab Magestic gutter system comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
While the finish is designed for durability as-is, painting is generally not recommended as it may interfere with the proprietary self-healing properties of the coating.
Magestic uses a magnesium alloy that offers 20 times the corrosion resistance of standard galvanised steel and features self-healing edges.
This is often a temporary surface reaction. The self-healing magnesium properties will form a seal over the edge within a short period of exposure to the elements.
Check that the joints are fully seated within the cup diameter and ensure any required seals are correctly compressed and free of debris.
Installation of the 100mm Lindab Magestic system should follow standard rainwater system protocols. Ensure all components are handled carefully to avoid deep gouges that exceed the self-healing capacity of the coating. For best results, use compatible Lindab connectors and brackets specifically designed for the 100mm half-round profile.
For maintenance, clear the gutters of organic debris such as leaves and twigs at least twice a year. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive wire brushes, as these can disrupt the natural protective layer. A simple rinse with clean water is sufficient to maintain the system's integrity over its 10-year warranty period.
