Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before using your pan for the first time, wash it in warm, soapy water to remove any manufacturing residue. When cooking, always preheat the pan on medium heat for a minute or two before adding your cooking fat; this helps create a natural thermal barrier that reduces sticking. While the pan is dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to maintain the aesthetic brushed steel finish over many years. Because this pan is made of high-quality stainless steel, it is fully compatible with induction, gas, electric, and ceramic hobs. When moving from the stovetop to the oven, ensure you use oven mitts, as the cast steel handle will become hot.
