The VEVOR 10-inch tortilla press is designed for home cooks and commercial kitchens looking to achieve consistent, professional-grade flatbreads, tortillas, and pizza bases with minimal effort. This heavy-duty, pre-seasoned iron press offers an efficient way to flatten various types of dough into uniform rounds using its reinforced leverage system. While its heavy construction ensures excellent performance, users should note that the iron material requires careful handling to prevent rust and maintain its seasoned finish over time.

No. Dishwashers will strip the seasoning and cause the iron to rust. Always hand-clean and dry immediately.
The press comes pre-seasoned and ready for use. However, you may choose to add an extra layer of seasoning if you prefer.
It works well with flour-based tortillas, rotis, empanada dough, and even thin-crust pizza dough.
Place a silicone mat or a thin kitchen towel under the base of the press to provide extra grip on slippery surfaces.
The sheets are silicone-coated for easy release; they can often be reused a few times until they become worn or torn.
Store it in a dry, cool place. Ensure it is completely dry and lightly oiled to prevent moisture from damaging the iron surface.
Always use the included silicone parchment paper or a light dusting of flour between the dough and the iron plates.
Ensure the dough has rested for at least 15-30 minutes after kneading so the gluten can relax before pressing.
Gently scrub the rusted area with a non-metallic brush, dry thoroughly, and re-season the iron with a thin layer of vegetable oil.
Setting up the VEVOR press is straightforward: simply wipe the surfaces with a damp cloth before first use. To ensure longevity, never submerge the unit in water or put it in the dishwasher. After each use, wipe it clean; if you must use water, dry it immediately with a towel and place it on a warm stove burner for a few minutes to evaporate any remaining moisture. Apply a light coating of food-grade oil to the surface before storing to prevent oxidation. This press is compatible with all standard kitchen countertops and works best on a stable, flat surface.
