Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: No assembly is required. Simply remove the candles from their gift bags and place them on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure the wick is trimmed to about 1/4 inch before the first burn to promote an even melt pool.
Compatibility: These candles are designed for general home use. They are compatible with most indoor environments. Ensure adequate ventilation when burning.
Care:
- First Burn: Allow the candle to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface to prevent tunneling. This typically takes 2-4 hours.
- Wick Maintenance: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. This prevents excessive smoking and ensures a steady flame.
- Extinguishing: Use a snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax pool to extinguish the flame. Avoid blowing out the candle, as this can cause smoke and uneven wax cooling.
- Storage: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain wax quality and fragrance integrity.
- Cleaning: If wax spills occur, allow it to cool and harden before scraping it off. For residual wax, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Ensure the candle is completely dry before relighting.
