Callistemon Honeypot Bottlebrush Flowering Shrub - 9cm Pot

Generally, Callistemon species are not considered toxic to dogs or cats, but it is always best to prevent pets from consuming garden plants.

It is best suited for outdoors as it requires high light levels and good airflow, which are often difficult to replicate inside a home.

A single application of a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring is typically sufficient.

In regions with heavy frost, it is recommended to move container plants into a shed or greenhouse or wrap the plant in horticultural fleece.

The ideal time to prune is immediately after the flowering period concludes to encourage healthy growth for the next season.

As a compact variety, it remains a manageable shrub size, making it ideal for pots or smaller garden borders.

This is often a sign of overwatering or poor drainage; ensure the pot has adequate drainage holes and allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings.

The plant likely requires more direct sunlight; consider moving the container to a brighter location.

This may be caused by drought stress or exposure to strong, drying winds. Increase watering frequency and move to a more sheltered position.
