Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup: The Ronseal Precision Finish Brush is ready for immediate use. Ensure it is dry before loading with paint.
Compatibility: This brush is compatible with all types of stains, paints, and varnishes, including water-based and solvent-based formulations.
Care: To ensure optimal performance and longevity:
- Clean Immediately After Use: Remove excess paint by wiping the bristles gently on the edge of your paint container.
- Wash Thoroughly: Use warm, soapy water for water-based paints and a suitable solvent (like white spirit) for oil-based paints or varnishes. Work the cleaner through the bristles until all paint residue is removed.
- Rinse Well: Rinse the bristles under clean running water until the water runs clear.
- Remove Excess Water: Gently squeeze water from the bristles, working from the ferrule towards the tips.
- Reshape and Dry: Reshape the bristles to their original form. Hang the brush to dry or lay it flat, ensuring the bristles are not left in contact with the drying surface to prevent deformation.
- Store Properly: Once dry, store the brush in a clean, dry place, ideally with a bristle cover to protect them. Avoid storing the brush with its bristles pressed down.
