Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Winding: If the watch has stopped, gently turn the crown clockwise (while in its default position) for about 30-40 turns to fully wind the mainspring. The self-winding mechanism will maintain the power reserve with regular wear.
- Setting Time and Date: Pull the crown out to the first position to set the date and to the second position to set the time. Push the crown back in to secure.
- Using Chronograph: Press the top pusher to start the chronograph, press it again to stop. Press the bottom pusher to reset the chronograph hands to zero.
Compatibility:
This is a mechanical wristwatch and is not designed to be compatible with electronic devices in terms of data syncing or connectivity.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Resistance: Ensure the crown is screwed down after setting the time/date to maintain water resistance. Rinse with fresh water and dry thoroughly after exposure to salt water or chlorine.
- Servicing: Mechanical watches require periodic servicing (typically every 3-5 years) by a qualified watchmaker to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
