The Balcony Box Trough Plant Pot is an ideal solution for urban gardeners, apartment dwellers, and those with limited outdoor space who want to cultivate greenery on balconies, patios, or terraces. This 70cm rectangular planter maximizes vertical and horizontal space, allowing for a dense display of flowers or herbs, though its relatively lightweight build means it should be positioned carefully in high-wind areas.

Yes, it can be used indoors, though you should place it on a waterproof saucer to prevent water leakage onto your floors.
The material is designed for outdoor use, but it is recommended to keep it in a sheltered spot during hard frosts to prolong its life.
When filled with 30 litres of moist potting mix, the planter can weigh approximately 15-20kg, so ensure your balcony railing or floor can support that weight.
It is recommended to check the bottom of your specific unit; if no holes are present, you can easily drill small drainage holes using a standard drill bit.
Simply use a damp cloth with mild soapy water and rinse with a garden hose.
Apply adhesive silicone furniture pads to the bottom of the pot to increase friction.
Ensure the container is not waterlogged and has been provided with a drainage layer, such as expanded clay pellets at the base.
Before planting, ensure the surface beneath the pot is level to prevent uneven weight distribution. If placing the planter directly on a finished surface, consider using a tray or mat to prevent staining. While the pot is weather-resistant, it should be wiped down with a soft, damp cloth periodically to maintain its anthracite finish. During winter, consider moving the planter to a sheltered area to prevent soil freeze-thaw cycles from impacting the structural integrity of the material.
