This set is specifically designed for use with emulsion paints, commonly used for interior walls and ceilings.

These brushes are intended for interior use only. Exterior paints and conditions require different types of brushes.

Use larger brushes (1.5"-2") for walls and ceilings. Smaller brushes (0.5"-1") are ideal for cutting in edges, trim, and detail work.

While not their primary design, you might be able to use them with some oil-based paints, but cleaning will require mineral spirits and performance may not be optimal. They are best suited for water-based emulsion paints.

After cleaning and drying, store the brushes in a clean, dry place. Hanging them or laying them flat can help maintain the bristle shape.

The different sizes allow for greater versatility. Larger brushes cover broad areas efficiently, while smaller brushes enable precise control for details and edges, leading to a cleaner finish.

Ensure the brush is adequately loaded with paint but not overloaded. Check if the emulsion paint is too thick; consider thinning according to manufacturer instructions. Make sure the brush bristles are clean and flexible.

This can sometimes occur with new brushes. Gently flex the bristles before use. Ensure you are not applying excessive pressure. If shedding persists, consider replacing the brush.
