Setup, Compatibility & Care
Skin Preparation
For optimal results, ensure your skin is clean, moisturized, and primed before application. Hydrated skin allows the foundation to blend smoothly and prevents it from clinging to dry patches.
Compatibility
- Skin Types: Best suited for normal, dry, and combination skin types due to its luminous, hydrating properties. Those with oily skin may need to use a mattifying primer and setting powder.
- Other Products: Compatible with most cream, liquid, and powder products. For best results, pair with water-based or silicone-based primers and concealers that complement its formula.
Care & Storage
- Storage: Store the foundation in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to maintain its integrity.
- Hygiene: To prevent contamination, avoid touching the foundation opening directly with fingers. Use a clean spatula to transfer product if you prefer not to pour directly. Regularly clean your application tools (brushes, sponges) to ensure hygienic application and prevent product breakdown or skin issues.
- Shelf Life: Most liquid foundations have a shelf life of 12-24 months after opening. Check the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol (an open jar icon) on the packaging for the specific recommended duration.
