The Knipex VDE Electronic Super Knips are designed for ultra-fine cutting tasks, particularly in electronics and fine mechanics. These pliers feature ground, very sharp cutting edges without a bevel, offering a cutting edge hardness of approximately 54 HRC. The precisely shaped tips allow for cutting wires close to a surface, starting from Ø 0.2mm. Their controlled micro cutting edge misalignment ensures the most precise cutting of even the thinnest wires, contributing to a long service life. Equipped with multi-component grips, they are VDE tested up to 10,000V and safe for work up to 1,000V, conforming to DIN EN / IEC 60900 standards. A joint with a stainless steel rivet ensures exceptionally smooth movement, minimizing operator fatigue. The pliers also feature an opening spring and an opening limiter. Specifications include a cutting capacity of 1.0mm for medium-hard wire, an overall length of 125mm, a head width of 13.5mm, a jaw length of 9mm, and a jaw thickness (joint) of 7.5mm.
