Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Your Olivia Burton watch arrives with the crown typically in the 'set' position to conserve battery. To start the watch:
- Gently pull the crown outwards to the furthest position.
- Set the time by turning the crown.
- Push the crown back in firmly to the normal position.
Compatibility:
This watch is a standalone analog timepiece. It does not require software or electronic compatibility with other devices. The stainless steel mesh bracelet is designed to fit most wrist sizes and is adjustable.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the mesh bracelet, a slightly damp cloth can be used to remove smudges, followed by immediate drying.
- Water Resistance: Avoid exposing the watch to prolonged contact with water. It is splash resistant (30m rating) but not suitable for swimming, showering, or immersion.
- Storage: Store the watch in its original box or a soft pouch when not in use to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
- Battery: The quartz movement is powered by a battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified jeweler to avoid damage to the watch.
