Product Information
Full details
The Hygge Bikes Vester 2026 is an ideal choice for urban commuters and adventure seekers who need a powerful, space-saving electric bike capable of handling mixed-terrain environments. Featuring a robust 250W motor and a long-range 48V 14Ah Samsung battery, it provides consistent power for daily travel, though its rugged build means it is heavier than non-electric folding alternatives, making it slightly more challenging to carry over long distances.

How long does it take to charge the battery?
Charging times depend on the remaining capacity, but a full charge typically takes between 5 to 7 hours.

Troubleshooting
Motor assistance does not engage when pedalling
Check that the battery is fully seated and locked into the frame, and ensure the display unit is powered on.
Brakes feel spongy or have reduced stopping power
Check for air in the hydraulic lines or worn brake pads; contact a professional technician for a hydraulic brake bleed if necessary.
Folding frame is stiff or difficult to open
Apply a light silicone-based lubricant to the folding hinges and ensure no cables are snagged in the mechanism.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first ride, ensure all quick-release levers—particularly those on the folding frame and seat post—are fully tightened. Check that the tyre pressure is within the recommended range printed on the sidewalls to maximize battery efficiency and ride quality. To maintain the bike, clean the frame and drivetrain with a damp cloth, avoiding high-pressure water jets near electrical components. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods, and aim to keep the charge level between 20% and 80% to prolong the health of the Samsung cells. Regularly inspect the Tektro hydraulic brake fluid levels and ensure the mechanical suspension pivots are free of debris.
