While the glass bowl is durable, we recommend using the integrated self-cleaning mode for daily maintenance to preserve the integrity of the unit.
Like most high-performance convection appliances, a short preheat of 2-3 minutes can help achieve optimal crispness for frozen foods.
Yes, you can use air-fryer-specific parchment paper, provided it does not obstruct the convection fan at the top of the unit.
The Fritaire reaches standard air frying temperatures suitable for roasting and crisping, generally up to 200 degrees Celsius.
The glass bowl will become hot during operation; always use oven mitts when handling the glass or the lid during or immediately after use.
Ensure the power cord is fully seated in the wall outlet and the glass bowl is properly aligned with the base sensor.
Check that the rotating basket is properly engaged and not overloaded, as overcrowding prevents proper airflow.
Ensure the glass bowl is clean of previous grease buildup before starting, or reduce the temperature for high-fat meats.
Setting up the Fritaire is straightforward: place the base on a heat-resistant, level surface and ensure the glass bowl is securely seated. For daily cleaning, utilize the automated cycle by filling the glass bowl with warm water and a few drops of dish soap, then running the unit for a brief cycle. Once the cycle finishes, rinse the glass bowl thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive steel wool or harsh scouring pads on the glass interior, as this can create micro-scratches over time. Always ensure the unit is unplugged and fully cooled before handling the glass bowl for manual cleaning or storage.
