FAQs
Will this cover fit other parasol brands?
No, this cover is specifically sized for the Hay Terrazza Parasol and may not fit parasols with different dimensions.
Is the cover waterproof?
The material is designed to be highly weather-resistant and protective against the elements, though it is intended for storage rather than submersion.
How do I store the cover when the parasol is in use?
The cover is lightweight and can be folded neatly to fit into a drawer or garden storage box.
Can I leave the cover on during winter?
Yes, it is designed to protect your parasol throughout the seasons, but we recommend storing the covered parasol in a sheltered spot if extreme winter weather is expected.
How do I clean the cover?
Use a damp, soft cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid chemicals or machine washing, as these can damage the UV-resistant properties.
Troubleshooting
Cover feels tight during application
Ensure the parasol is fully closed and the canopy fabric is wrapped tightly around the central pole before sliding the cover on.
Visible dirt or debris on cover
Gently shake the cover or use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dust; use a damp cloth for stubborn marks.
Pros and Cons

- Easy to slide on and off for daily storage
- Protects against dirt, dust, and moisture
- Neutral grey aesthetic complements most garden decor
Cons
- Not compatible with larger parasols

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: once the Terrazza Parasol is fully collapsed and tied down, slide the cover over the top of the folded canopy until it reaches the base. Ensure the zipper or closure is aligned for a tight seal. Compatibility is strictly limited to the Hay Terrazza Parasol line due to its specific dimensions. To maintain the cover, shake off loose dirt periodically and wipe it down with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not machine wash or use harsh detergents, as this may strip the UV-protective coating from the fabric.
