No, this board is designed for holding and applying mortar, not for the heavy-duty task of mixing raw materials.
The handles are factory-fitted for durability; they are not designed to be removed or replaced.
Clean with water and a soft-to-medium bristle brush immediately after use. Do not let mortar set on the surface.
Yes, the board features a movable insert specifically designed to facilitate both vertical and horizontal grouting.
Apply a very light coating of vegetable oil to the board before use or ensure the steel surface is kept damp during operation.
Check the tang connection for debris buildup and ensure the handle is tightly fitted; if the rubber grip slips, ensure it is completely dry.
This is normal for steel tools; ensure you are not using abrasive wire brushes to clean the surface, as this may compromise the powder coating.
Before starting your project, ensure the mortar board is placed on a stable surface. The movable insert can be adjusted by sliding it into the desired orientation for your specific grout path. To maintain the life of your Toolty set, always wash the mortar board and trowels immediately after use before the mortar cures. Use a stiff-bristle brush and water to remove residue from the powder-coated surface. Dry the tools thoroughly before storage to prevent oxidation. For the handles, wipe down with a damp cloth to ensure the grip remains clean and effective.
