Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using your EOS R8, insert the fully charged battery and the provided SanDisk Extreme PRO card into the bottom compartment. The RF-mount system is compatible with the full range of Canon RF and RF-S lenses; you can also use EF lenses via the optional EF-EOS R adapter. For care, always keep the sensor shielded from dust when changing lenses. Use a blower to remove debris from the sensor area, and wipe the camera body with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid extreme humidity to protect the internal electronics.
