The K-Secret Cosmetics Seoul 1988 Retinal Liposome 2% Serum is designed for adults looking to address fine lines, uneven skin tone, and rough texture through advanced Korean skincare technology. Its primary benefit is the combination of high-potency retinal with nourishing black ginseng to deliver visible smoothing and firming effects without harshness. The main caveat is that because it contains active retinal, it should be integrated into your routine gradually, ideally at night, to prevent skin irritation.

It is recommended for use as part of your evening skincare routine, as retinal can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.
Yes, the liposome delivery system is designed to reduce irritation, but always perform a patch test if you have highly reactive skin.
Yes, whenever using retinal products, it is essential to apply broad-spectrum SPF during the day to protect your skin.
With daily use of a pea-sized amount, a 30ml bottle typically lasts approximately 2 to 3 months.
It is best to avoid layering with concentrated AHAs, BHAs, or Vitamin C at the same time. You may use them on alternating nights.
No, this serum is fragrance-free, making it suitable for those who prefer to avoid synthetic or natural scents in their skincare.
This is common with retinoids. Reduce application frequency to once every three nights and increase your use of a gentle, hydrating moisturizer.
Ensure you are applying it to slightly damp or completely dry skin and using only the recommended pea-sized amount. Allow 60 seconds for absorption before applying your next product.
To begin using the serum, perform a patch test on the inner arm to ensure compatibility. When starting, use a pea-sized amount for the entire face. This product is compatible with most non-acidic moisturizers; however, avoid using it simultaneously with high-strength exfoliating acids (like AHAs or BHAs) during the same application to prevent sensitivity. Always store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the stability of the liposome technology. Ensure the cap is tightly closed after each use to prevent oxidation.
