FAQs

What is OFC?

OFC stands for Oxygen Free Copper, a high-purity copper used to enhance signal transfer quality.

What is PAL?

PAL is a television broadcast system used in many parts of the world. Ensure your devices are PAL compatible.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 3 meters in length.

Can I use this cable for digital TV?

It depends on your device. Check your TV or set-top box specifications for compatibility. This cable is primarily for older analog connections. If your digital TV device requires a different type of cable, such as HDMI, this lead will not work.

What are the gold-plated contacts for?

Gold plating helps to improve conductivity and resist corrosion, ensuring a reliable connection.

How do I clean the cable?

Use a dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe the cable and connectors. Do not use harsh chemicals.

What if the cable is too short?

You may need a longer cable or an extension cable, but ensure that any extension cable also supports high-quality signal transfer.

What is the warranty?

The warranty information is not provided in the product description.

Troubleshooting

No picture or poor signal quality.

Check all connections to ensure they are secure. Inspect the cable for any visible damage. Try a different cable or aerial to isolate the problem.

Loose connection.

Tighten the coaxial connectors. If they do not fit securely, consider replacing the cable.
