Product Information
Full details
The Trakker NXG 2 Rod Sleeve is the ideal storage solution for dedicated carp anglers who prioritize the safety and organization of their 12ft rods during transit. It offers the benefit of heavily padded, secure protection for two fully made-up rods with large pit reels and oversized guides, though its 195cm length makes it best suited for standard 12ft setups rather than collapsible or shorter travel rods.

Troubleshooting
Zippers feel stiff or difficult to close
Clear any dirt or grit from the zip track and apply a dry silicone lubricant spray if necessary.
Shoulder strap feels uncomfortable when fully loaded
Adjust the strap length to ensure the weight sits centrally across your back rather than pulling on one shoulder.
Rods shift inside the bag during transport
Ensure the internal securing straps are fastened tightly over the rod blanks before zipping the sleeve closed.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the lifespan of the NXG 2 Rod Sleeve, ensure rods are wiped clean of heavy grit or mud before zipping them inside, as debris can wear down the internal lining.
- Compatibility: Designed specifically for two 12ft rods. Ensure your rod rings are aligned correctly within the widened tip sections before closing the zip.
- Storage: Use the integrated D-clip to keep the sleeve elevated in your garage to prevent moisture buildup.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the external fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemical cleaners which can degrade the water-resistant coating.
