Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation should always be performed by a certified technician. When setting up the P86030 pads, clean the caliper bracket guides thoroughly to ensure the pads slide freely. If your vehicle uses a wear sensor, ensure the cable is routed correctly to prevent chaffing. After installation, it is crucial to perform a 'bedding-in' process: perform several moderate stops from low to medium speeds to allow the pad material to transfer correctly to the rotor surface. Avoid heavy, high-speed braking for the first 100-200 miles of driving to prevent glazing.
