Troubleshooting
Cover flapping in strong wind
Ensure the side flaps are pulled taut before closing the doors and utilize the included suction cups to anchor the cover to the interior glass.
Frost forming underneath the cover
Ensure the cover is laid flat against the glass surface without wrinkles to prevent air pockets where moisture can collect.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Protects against both winter frost and summer heat
- Easy to install by trapping side flaps in car doors
- Prevents ice buildup for faster winter starts
- Helps keep vehicle interior cooler during summer
- Includes secure attachment options to prevent shifting in wind
Cons
- May not cover oversized truck or SUV windscreens entirely
- Requires manual placement and removal before driving
- Can be bulky to store inside the car when not in use
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, unfold the cover and spread it across the windscreen. Ensure the side flaps are positioned inside the door frame before closing the doors to secure the cover. If using the provided suction cups, attach them to the interior of the windscreen glass for additional tension. Compatibility is best with standard sedans and hatchbacks; please measure your screen dimensions prior to use. For maintenance, shake off excess snow or debris, wipe clean with a damp cloth if dirty, and ensure the cover is completely dry before folding it for storage to prevent mildew.
