John Guest Speedfit Equal-Elbow Push-Fit fittings are designed for joining pieces of copper or plastic pipe of the same size to create a 90-degree curve. The installation process is simple: fully press the Push-Fit fitting onto the pipe and lock it in place by rotating the plastic nut clockwise. To demount, unlock the nut manually, push the collet toward the fitting's body, and pull the pipe to remove the connection. This fitting allows for installations up to 40% faster than traditional techniques as it eliminates the need for hot work and tools, making it particularly useful in limited spaces. The fitting is made of plastic and is suitable for connecting plastic and copper pipes. It ensures an easier working environment in confined places and removes the need for hot works on site. Installation time can be reduced by around 40% compared to traditional fixing methods. For all plastic pipes, the relevant manufacturer’s pipe insert is required. Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the UK by John Guest Speedfit. It boasts BSI, BBA, and WRAS approval and conforms to ISO 14001, accredited by British Gas Service and Energy Savings Trust.
