Troubleshooting
Grommet does not fit securely
Ensure you have selected the correct grommet for your vehicle model and the specific location. Verify the dimensions match the original part or the intended hole size.
Trim panel rattles after installation
Check that the grommet is fully seated in its mounting hole and that the trim panel is properly engaged with the grommet. Ensure no other fasteners are missing.
Grommet splits or cracks
This may indicate the grommet is old or has been subjected to excessive force during installation or removal. Replace with a new grommet. Consider if the force required suggests an incorrect part or a vehicle issue.
