FAQs

Can these pots be used indoors?

These pots are designed for outdoor use and include multiple drainage holes, which may cause water to leak onto indoor flooring.

Are these pots suitable for fruit trees?

Yes, the 30L capacity is ideal for patio fruit trees, providing enough volume for roots to establish successfully.

Why do the pots have cosmetic blemishes?

The pots are manufactured using recycled materials, which can lead to slight variations in texture or appearance on the surface.

Do I need to drill my own holes?

No, these pots come with pre-formed drainage holes already integrated into the bottom and sides.

How long will these pots last outdoors?

The UV-stable and frost-resistant material is designed for a lifespan of up to 10 years.

What are the exact dimensions?

Each pot is approximately 40cm in diameter and 35cm tall.

Troubleshooting

Drainage holes becoming blocked by soil

Place a small layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the bottom of the pot before adding soil to keep the drainage pathways clear.

Surface appears dusty or stained over time

Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or rinse with a low-pressure hose; avoid harsh chemical cleaners.

Pros and Cons

Pros

UV-stable and frost-resistant for year-round use
Heavy-duty construction ensures a 10-year lifespan
Integrated handles make moving heavy plants easy
Pre-drilled holes ensure proper water drainage
Large 30L size supports a wide variety of plant types

Cons

May feature minor cosmetic blemishes due to recycled material content
Large footprint may be unsuitable for very small balconies
Lack of saucers means they are best suited for outdoor use only

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maximize the life of your YouGarden pots, place them on a level surface to ensure even drainage. While the material is frost-resistant, keeping them on pot feet during the coldest months can further improve drainage and prevent freezing to the patio surface. Because they are made from recycled materials, you may notice slight color variations or surface marks; this is normal and does not affect the structural integrity of the planter. To clean, simply rinse with a hose and scrub with a soft brush between planting seasons.
