Setup, Compatibility & Care
Proper installation of the Bridgestone L309 is critical due to its Tube-Type (TT) designation. Always ensure you are using a new, properly sized inner tube and rim strip when mounting this tire to avoid chafing or punctures.
- Pressure: Always maintain tire pressure according to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended PSI, rather than the maximum pressure listed on the sidewall.
- Break-in Period: Limit aggressive cornering and hard braking for the first 50-100 miles to allow the tire surface to cure and achieve optimal grip.
- Inspection: Regularly check for debris embedded in the tread and monitor the sidewalls for any signs of cracking or dry rot if the bike is stored in direct sunlight.
