The DURATECH 12-inch Adjustable Oil Filter Pliers and Wrench Set is designed for professional mechanics and automotive DIY enthusiasts who require a reliable solution for removing stubborn oil filters. This 2-piece kit offers exceptional versatility, featuring both a high-leverage plier and an adjustable 3-jaw wrench to handle filters ranging from 63 mm to 103 mm across most domestic and international vehicles; however, users should note that the wrench requires a 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch drive adapter, which is not included in the set.

Yes, the adjustable range covers many motorcycle filter sizes, provided the filter diameter is between 63 mm and 103 mm.
No, these tools are intended for manual operation with a hand-ratchet or by hand. Using an impact tool may cause damage.
The wrench is designed to fit standard 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch drive ratchets, so you can use the adapter already present on your existing tools.
The tools feature a rust-resistant finish, but you should wipe them clean of oil and moisture after each use to ensure longevity.
The set is capable of gripping filters as small as 63 mm in diameter.
The 3-jaw wrench is often effective for recessed filters, as it is lower profile than the 12-inch pliers.
Ensure the filter housing is clean and dry. Check that the 3-jaw arms are centered properly before applying torque.
Adjust the plier pivot point for a tighter jaw opening and ensure the teeth are pressed firmly into the filter metal.
Tighten the nylon lock nut on the 3-jaw assembly to ensure the jaws remain synchronized.
To begin, ensure the engine is cool to prevent accidental burns. For the 3-jaw wrench, attach your preferred 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch drive ratchet. Place the jaws around the filter, adjusting until they make firm contact.
