The Faithfull Hook & Loop Cable Ties are designed for professionals and DIY enthusiasts who require a flexible, reusable solution for securing and organizing cables or equipment. Yes, they are suitable for outdoor use and can handle temperatures ranging from -20C to 120C.
No, the hook and loop design is intended for temporary and adjustable use, making them easy to remove and reuse.
The tensile strength is temporarily reduced by 50% while wet, but it returns to full strength once the ties are dry.
Yes, the material can be trimmed with scissors if the tail is too long for your specific cable bundle.
Yes, unlike plastic zip ties, these hook and loop ties are soft and do not pinch or damage cable insulation when tightened.
Please refer to your specific retail packaging or invoice as pack quantities may vary by supplier.
Ensure the hook and loop surfaces are clean of debris and are pressed firmly together across the entire contact patch.
Allow the ties to dry completely; the material is designed to recover its full tensile strength once moisture is removed.
The ties are 150mm in length; for thicker bundles, consider daisy-chaining two ties together to increase the total length.
Setup is straightforward: wrap the tie around your cable bundle, feed the end through the loop, and press the hook side firmly against the loop material. To maintain the life of the ties, keep the contact surfaces free of dust, lint, or oil which can degrade the adhesive properties of the hook and loop fasteners. If using in a high-moisture environment, ensure the ties are allowed to dry naturally to regain their full mechanical strength. For long-term outdoor use, inspect the ties periodically to ensure the hook material has not accumulated debris that might weaken the bond.
