Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward: ensure the surface is relatively level and free of sharp sticks or rocks that could damage the fabric. Simply unroll the material and overlap sections by at least 6-12 inches to prevent weeds from growing through the seams. Secure the edges using landscape staples or pins every few feet. While the material is robust, it is essential to cover the fabric with at least 3 inches of gravel, mulch, or decorative stone as soon as possible after installation. This cover layer protects the fabric from UV degradation and mechanical damage. When cutting to size, a standard heavy-duty utility knife or high-quality scissors will suffice.
