The Wiha LongLife Plus Composite Folding Ruler is an essential precision tool for professional tradespeople and contractors who require a durable, weather-resistant measuring device. Featuring a unique glass-fiber reinforced construction, it provides superior rigidity and chemical resistance compared to traditional wooden rules; however, users accustomed to the tactile weight of wood may find the lightweight plastic composite feel takes some adjustment.

This ruler is ready to use immediately upon removal from packaging. No calibration is required as it meets EU standard accuracy class II requirements right out of the factory. To ensure the longevity of the tool, wipe the segments down with a damp cloth if they come into contact with excessive dust, grit, or chemical solvents. Avoid forcing the joints beyond their 180-degree limit, as this can fatigue the spring pins. Store the ruler in a dry, temperate area to ensure the internal tension of the joints remains consistent over years of heavy use.
