Setup, Compatibility & Care
To prepare the pot for first use, wash it with warm soapy water and dry it thoroughly. When cooking over an open fire, ensure the legs are stable on a flat surface to prevent tipping. While the enamel is rust-resistant, avoid using metal utensils that might scratch the surface; opt for silicone or wooden spoons instead.
To clean, allow the pot to cool completely before washing by hand. Although the exterior is enamel, avoid harsh abrasive sponges. If stubborn food is stuck to the bottom, soak in warm water before gently cleaning. Always store in a dry place to maintain the integrity of the metal handle and the exterior finish.
