The Portwest Forestry Combi Kit is designed for professionals working in demanding environments who need reliable head, hearing, and face protection. Its key benefit is offering integrated safety features with adjustability for comfort. A potential caveat is that the mesh visor is sold separately, requiring an additional purchase for full face protection. This kit combines a vented ABS safety helmet with high-performance ear muffs, providing essential safety gear in one package.

No, the mesh visor (PS94) and its holder are sold separately and must be purchased in addition to the combi kit for full face protection.
The helmet is designed to fit head circumferences from 56 cm to 63 cm, adjustable via the wheel ratchet system.
The ear muffs included are specifically designed to integrate with the Portwest PS55 helmet. While other accessories might physically attach, compatibility and performance are best guaranteed with the intended Portwest components.
Helmets should be replaced immediately if they sustain impact damage, show signs of wear (cracks, degradation), or after a maximum of 5-7 years from the date of manufacture, depending on usage and storage conditions. Always refer to the manufacturer's specific guidelines.
The ear muffs provide high-performance hearing protection. For specific noise reduction ratings (NRR) or suitability for particular frequency ranges, consult the product's technical specifications or contact the manufacturer.
The foam sweatband can be gently hand-washed with mild soap and cool water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reattaching it to the helmet.
Adjust the wheel ratchet at the back of the helmet. Turn it clockwise to tighten and counter-clockwise to loosen until a secure, comfortable fit is achieved.
Ensure the ear muffs are positioned correctly and form a tight seal around the ears. Adjust their height and ensure no hair or other obstructions are interfering with the seal. Check that the helmet is worn correctly.
Ensure the chin strap is adjusted correctly and not overly tight. The fit should be secure but not constrictive. Inspect the strap for any wear or damage.
The sweatband may need to be cleaned or replaced. Hand wash the sweatband with mild soap and water and allow it to air dry completely. If it remains ineffective, consider purchasing a replacement.
