The Crystal-Direct Monza Front Door in Slate Grey is designed for homeowners seeking a balance of modern security and thermal performance. Featuring a durable GRP skin and a high-density polyurethane foam core, this door helps maintain interior temperatures to support energy efficiency. While it provides a robust and aesthetically pleasing solution for home entryways, it is important to note that the product is handed based on the view from the outside, requiring careful consideration before purchase.

Stand outside your house facing the door. If the hinges are on the left, it is a left-hand door; if the hinges are on the right, it is a right-hand door.
The door comes in a factory-finished Slate Grey. While GRP can theoretically be painted, doing so may void your warranty; it is recommended to keep the factory finish.
The low threshold is designed to reduce the step-over height, making the entrance more accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
Yes, the unit uses toughened safety glass, which is significantly more resistant to impact than standard glass.
The door is compatible with Kubu intelligent sensors, but the sensors themselves are typically purchased as a separate smart home accessory.
No, the door is manufactured to specific dimensions. Trimming a GRP door will compromise its structural integrity, weather sealing, and security certification.
Check if the door is properly aligned in the frame. Adjust the hinges if the door is sagging, or lubricate the locking mechanism with a non-petroleum based lubricant.
Verify the Kubu sensor battery level and ensure the sensor is correctly seated in the pre-installed housing within the door.
Inspect the weather stripping seals for debris or damage. Clean the seal area and ensure the door is latching fully to compress the gaskets.
This door is supplied as a pre-hung unit with a low aluminium threshold. Ensure your rough opening is accurately measured to accommodate the 920mm x 2090mm dimensions. When ordering, always verify the handing from the exterior of the house to ensure the door swings in the correct direction. For care, wash the GRP skin periodically with a soft cloth and mild, soapy water to remove dirt and grime. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Inspect the locking mechanism annually and apply a silicone-based lubricant if the bolt movement becomes stiff.
