Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Due to its weight, it is recommended that two people handle and install the M20 matting. Cut the matting to size using a sharp utility knife or specialized cutting tool. For wall and ceiling applications, secure the matting using appropriate adhesives and mechanical fixings, ensuring a tight fit with minimal gaps. On floors, it can be laid directly onto the subfloor before applying a screed or finished flooring.
Compatibility: The M20 Acoustic Matting is compatible with most standard building materials, including wood, concrete, and plasterboard. It serves as an excellent sub-layer before the application of finishes like carpet, laminate flooring, or acoustic plaster.
Care: Clean the matting with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the area where the matting is installed remains dry to prevent any potential issues.
