Setup, Compatibility & Care
For installation, ensure your timber is cut square for the best fit. Use appropriate structural nails or coach screws recommended by your local building code to fill the pre-drilled holes; using undersized fasteners will compromise the load rating. While the galvanization prevents rust, avoid cutting the steel with tools that create excessive heat or sparks, as this can degrade the protective coating. If you must trim the anchor, apply a cold-galvanizing spray to the raw edge to maintain corrosion resistance. Store the anchors in a dry environment to prevent moisture accumulation before installation.
