The Nuie Rene Hinged Shower Door is 800mm wide. You will need a shower tray that accommodates this width and the appropriate depth for your bathroom layout. It is designed to fit standard rectangular shower enclosures.
No, the shower tray and waste are sold separately. You will need to purchase these items to complete your shower installation.
Clean the brushed brass finish with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. For stubborn marks, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner suitable for brass finishes can be used.
The Nuie Rene Hinged Shower Door comes with a 5-year guarantee from the manufacturer.
This model is designed with a hinged door that typically opens outwards for ease of access. Please refer to the installation manual for specific details regarding the swing direction, although outward opening is standard for optimal usability and water containment.
The shower door features 6mm thick toughened safety glass.
While not strictly mandatory, professional installation by a qualified plumber or bathroom fitter is highly recommended to ensure a correct, watertight, and safe installation.
Check for obstructions in the door's path. Ensure the door is correctly aligned on its hinges and that the frame is plumb and level. Minor adjustments to hinges may be required.
Verify that the shower tray is properly sealed to the floor and walls. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact, and that the door is closing correctly against them. Check the shower tray waste for blockages.
Inspect hinges for any debris or residue. Gently clean the hinge mechanism with a damp cloth. If stiffness persists, a small amount of silicone-based lubricant may be applied to the hinge joints.
Ensure you are using only non-abrasive cleaning agents specifically designed for metallic finishes. Avoid harsh chemicals or acidic cleaners. Regular gentle cleaning should prevent discoloration.
Setup: Installation of the Nuie Rene Hinged Shower Door should ideally be performed by a qualified professional to ensure a secure and watertight fit. The door is designed for straightforward installation, typically mounting onto a compatible shower tray. Ensure all wall fixings are appropriate for your wall type.
Compatibility: This shower door requires a suitable shower tray and a compatible waste system, which are sold separately. It is designed to fit standard rectangular shower spaces. Please verify dimensions and ensure adequate space for the door to open outwards before purchasing.
Care: To maintain the pristine appearance of the brushed brass finish, use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the finish. For the glass, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth or squeegee. Regularly check seals and fixings to ensure continued performance.
