Troubleshooting
Hook feels loose after installation
Re-tighten the mounting hardware. Ensure you are using appropriate hardware for your wall type and that the mounting surface is structurally sound. Check that pilot holes were drilled correctly.
Punching bag sways excessively
Verify the hook is securely fastened to a strong overhead support. Ensure the punching bag is not overloaded beyond its intended capacity. Consider adding a stabilization strap if necessary.
Rust or corrosion appears on the hook
Wipe the hook with a dry cloth. If minor rust is present, you can try gently cleaning with a fine steel wool pad, then wipe clean. Ensure the area is dry and consider applying a rust inhibitor if the environment is humid.
