FAQs

Will this fit on a rounded sofa arm?

The tray is designed for relatively flat surfaces and may be unstable on heavily rounded or sloped armrests.

Can I use this on a bed or a chair?

Yes, it works effectively on any flat, stable surface that matches the dimensions of the tray base.

How do I clean sticky spills from the wood?

Use a damp, soft cloth with a mild soap solution, then immediately wipe dry with a lint-free towel.

Does it require any assembly?

No, the tray comes fully assembled and is ready to use right out of the box.

What are the internal dimensions of the storage areas?

It features a 10.5 cm x 9 cm small compartment, a 20.5 cm x 9 cm big compartment, and a 32 cm x 9 cm x 3 cm side compartment.

Troubleshooting

The tray feels unstable or wobbly.

Ensure the tray is placed on the flattest part of the armrest; if the arm is too curved, the tray may not sit properly.

The tray slides when I move on the sofa.

Clean the non-slip base with a slightly damp cloth to remove dust, as debris can reduce the friction grip.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Protects sofa upholstery from stains and physical wear
Sturdy bamboo construction ensures longevity
Non-slip base adds safety for beverage containers
Easy-clean coating allows for quick spill management

Cons

Requires a sufficiently flat or wide armrest to sit level
Not compatible with extremely rounded or soft, overstuffed sofa arms
Fixed dimensions may not fit all custom furniture styles

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the tray is straightforward: simply place it centered on your sofa armrest and ensure all four sides of the non-slip base make full contact with the fabric. Before placing drinks on the tray, gently press down to ensure it is seated level. To maintain the bamboo finish, wipe the tray with a damp, soft cloth after use; avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or submerging the tray in water, as this can compromise the protective coating and the integrity of the natural wood. Periodically check the base to ensure it remains free of debris to maintain its grip effectiveness.
