Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure a professional installation, check the following:
- Subfloor Preparation: The floor must be completely level. If the floor is uneven, use a leveling compound before installing the tray to ensure proper water runoff.
- Waste Connection: The 90mm hole is industry-standard, but ensure your existing plumbing lines are positioned to align with the waste trap location.
- Sealing: Always use a high-quality, bathroom-grade silicone sealant between the edge of the tray and the wall tiles to create a watertight barrier.
- Care Instructions: Clean the tray with a non-abrasive soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or scouring pads, as these may dull the slate-effect texture over time. For the waste trap, simply lift the chrome cover and clear any debris periodically to maintain the 24 l/m flow rate.
