Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Clean the damaged area of the alloy wheel thoroughly. Remove any loose paint, rust, or debris. Use a degreaser to ensure the surface is free from oil and grease.
- Mixing: Follow the mixing instructions provided on the packaging, using the graduated rule for accurate ratios. Mix the filler and hardener thoroughly.
- Application: Apply the mixed filler to the damaged area, slightly overfilling it to allow for sanding.
- Curing: Allow the filler to cure completely as per the manufacturer's instructions. This usually takes a short time, but check the product details.
- Sanding: Once cured, sand the repaired area smooth, feathering the edges to blend with the surrounding surface.
- Priming and Painting: After sanding, prime the repaired area and then apply paint that matches the wheel's original color.
Compatibility: The Isopon Alloy Wheel Filler is designed for use on most metal alloy wheels.
Care: Store the product in a cool, dry place. Ensure the lid is sealed tightly after use to prevent the filler from drying out. Clean tools immediately after use.
