The Velo Pro Turbo Trainer supports a maximum combined weight of 120kg for both the bike and the rider.
While not strictly required, using a trainer-specific tire is recommended. Regular outdoor tires can wear down quickly and generate more noise on the trainer's roller.
Resistance is adjusted using the handlebar-mounted control unit, which offers 6 different levels. Simply press the buttons to increase or decrease the intensity.
Minimal assembly is required. The trainer comes with most parts pre-assembled, and you'll primarily need to attach your bike to it using the provided accessories.
The trainer includes a quick-release turbo skewer, a front wheel riser block, and 4 locking nuts for securing your bike.
The trainer is designed for bikes with standard quick-release axles. If your bike has a thru-axle, you may need a compatible thru-axle adapter (sold separately).
The trainer features a foldable design, allowing it to be collapsed into a more compact form for easier storage in smaller spaces.
Ensure the trainer is on a completely flat and stable surface. Check that all locking mechanisms are fully engaged and that the bike's axle is correctly seated in the trainer's clamps.
Verify that the handlebar-mounted adjuster cable is securely connected to the resistance unit. Ensure the adjuster itself is functioning correctly and try manually adjusting the resistance unit if possible.
Confirm your bike's tire size and type are within the compatibility range (26”-28” and 700C tires for MTB, road, hybrid, gravel bikes). Ensure you are using the correct quick-release skewer provided.
Noise levels can depend on the tire type and air pressure. Consider using a trainer-specific tire for quieter performance. Ensure the roller is clean and free from debris.
