Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, ensure all surfaces are smooth, dry, and free of dust or grease. Use a high-quality utility cutter for precise trimming after application. If applying near sinks or hobs, always apply a clear, silicone-based sealant around the edges to prevent water ingress, which can cause the adhesive to lift over time. For maintenance, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent. To remove the vinyl in the future, gently warm the film with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive, then peel it back slowly. The vinyl is compatible with most non-porous, flat materials including wood, laminate, and metal.
