The Ewbank Hydrosv is an ideal cleaning solution for busy households that require a versatile tool to handle both vacuuming and deep steam sanitisation on various surfaces. By combining cyclonic vacuuming with grease-busting steam power, it effectively eliminates 99.9% of bacteria without harsh chemicals, making it a safe choice for families with pets and children. While it provides excellent flexibility, users should note that as a corded 2-in-1 unit, it requires access to power outlets and a brief pause to manage the transition between vacuuming and steam modes.

No, this steam cleaner should only be used on sealed hard floors. Steam can damage porous, unsealed surfaces.
No, the Hydrosv is designed to sanitise using only steam, effectively killing 99.9% of bacteria without the need for chemicals.
The Hydrosv is equipped with an 8-meter power cable, offering significant reach for most standard rooms.
The unit is designed to function as a 2-in-1 device; you should perform the vacuuming action first to remove dry debris before switching to steam mode.
The dust container has a capacity of 0.5 liters, which is designed for easy, mess-free emptying.
The unit is ready to produce steam in approximately 30 seconds.
Check that the water tank is securely inserted and filled, and ensure the unit has had the full 30 seconds to heat up.
Check the dust container to see if it is full, and inspect the hose or intake for any blockages or debris buildup.
Ensure you are using the correct steam setting for the floor type; reduce the steam intensity level if the floor is becoming too wet.
Setting up the Hydrosv is straightforward: ensure the dust bin is clicked securely into place and the clean water tank is filled to the required level. Before first use, verify that your flooring is sealed, as the high-temperature steam is not suitable for unsealed wood or porous surfaces. For long-term care, always empty the 0.5L dust container after each vacuuming session to maintain suction performance. After steam cleaning, empty the dirty water tank to prevent mineral buildup. Periodically check the steam nozzles for limescale; if steam output decreases, descale the unit according to standard appliance maintenance practices to ensure longevity.
