Full details
Draught proofing is essential for reducing heat loss and lowering heating bills by minimizing air infiltration through gaps around windows and doors. Buildings from 1900-1990 often have high air permeability rates (20-30 m3/hr/m2) due to poor sealing. Effective draught proofing can decrease this to 10-15 m3/hr/m2, offering a cost-effective way to cut heating expenses. Draught proofing can save approximately 8-10% on annual heating bills per window or door. This draught excluder features a black PVC brush seal/sweep seal with a metal body. It is ideal for internal doors or the inner side of external doors. Installation is simple, with screws provided, and it can be easily cut to the required length. Benefits include reduced heating bills and soundproofing from external noise. The dimensions are: brush strip length 914mm wide, thickness 6mm, brush length 25mm. The colour is Gold.
