Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure you have the necessary tools: a screwdriver, measuring tape, and a pencil.
- Measurement: Measure and mark the correct positions on your cabinet doors or drawers for the knob installation.
- Drilling: If necessary, drill pilot holes according to the knob's specifications. The Carlisle Brass Oxford Knob requires a specific hole size based on the included fixings.
- Installation: Insert the fixings through the cabinet door or drawer and attach the knob from the front.
- Tightening: Tighten the fixings until the knob is securely in place, but do not overtighten.
Compatibility
The Carlisle Brass Oxford Knob is compatible with most standard cabinet doors and drawers. Ensure the thickness of your cabinet door or drawer is suitable for the provided fixings. The knobs work well with various materials, including wood and composite boards.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the knobs regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.
- Maintenance: Check the fixings periodically to ensure they remain tight. Tighten as needed.
