This guide is for dog owners seeking a nutritious and palatable food option, especially those with working dogs or dogs with sensitive stomachs. Gelert Country Choice Tripe Dog Food, made from pure green beef tripe, offers a wealth of digestive enzymes and nutrients, promoting a healthier digestive system, skin, and coat. However, it's essential to note that while highly palatable, the strong smell of tripe may not be appealing to all owners.

Green tripe is the unprocessed, unbleached lining of a cow's stomach, containing partially digested grasses and beneficial digestive enzymes.
Yes, it is suitable for puppies. The food provides the essential nutrients needed for healthy growth and development.
Yes, it can be fed on its own, but it's recommended to supplement with a good-quality complete dry food for a balanced diet.
Store any unused portion in a sealed container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
Refer to the best-before date on the packaging, but it is best used within a few days of opening when refrigerated.
Ingredients include meat and animal derivatives (tripe), derivatives of vegetable origin, and minerals. Some varieties also include beef or chicken.
Gelert Country Choice Tripe Dog Food can be a good option for dogs with sensitive stomachs because of the ease of digestion and the naturally occurring enzymes. Always introduce new foods slowly and consult your vet if needed.
Gradually introduce the food to your dog's diet over several days. If the issue persists, reduce the amount of tripe food given or consult with a veterinarian.
Ensure the food is at room temperature and try mixing it with a small amount of the dog's regular food. If the issue persists, the dog may not like the taste of tripe.
