Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The awning arrives flat-packed and requires assembly before installation. This involves connecting the various aluminium components and ensuring the fabric is properly attached to the roller and front bar. It is strongly recommended that installation is carried out by a qualified professional to ensure the awning is securely mounted to a suitable wall structure, as improper installation can lead to damage or injury. Pay close attention to the manufacturer's assembly instructions for correct component placement and tensioning.
Compatibility: This awning is designed to be mounted on solid wall surfaces capable of supporting its weight and the forces exerted when extended. Compatibility with specific wall types (e.g., brick, concrete, timber frame) should be assessed by the installer.
Care: To maintain the appearance and function of your awning, regularly clean the fabric with a mild soap and water solution using a soft brush or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Ensure the awning is fully retracted during high winds, heavy rain, or snowfall to prevent damage. Periodically check the tension of the steel cables and the tightness of the arm adjustment bolts.
