Bartoline Teak Oil is a specialized wood treatment formulated for homeowners looking to restore and protect the natural beauty of outdoor garden furniture and interior matt-finished hardwoods. By replenishing essential oils stripped away by weathering and daily wear, this product provides a deep, nourishing finish that keeps oak and teak surfaces supple and resilient. While it offers excellent protection, users must be diligent about proper surface preparation and safe handling of oil-soaked rags to prevent fire hazards.

Bartoline Teak Oil is specially formulated for hardwoods. While it may apply to softwoods, it is most effective on dense woods like Teak and Oak.
You should allow at least 24 hours of drying time between each coat for the best results.
Yes, any previous paint or varnish must be removed with sandpaper to allow the oil to penetrate the wood grain.
Wash them thoroughly in soapy water immediately after use and dispose of them outside; do not leave them in a pile as they can self-ignite.
Yes, it is ideal for interior furniture where a traditional, natural matt finish is desired.
You must use White Spirit to clean your brushes and application tools immediately after you finish using the oil.
Excess oil was not wiped off after application. Wipe the surface with a cloth dampened with White Spirit to remove the sticky residue.
The wood may still have a factory finish, varnish, or old paint present. Sand the surface down to bare wood and clean with White Spirit before reapplying.
This often occurs due to uneven sanding. Ensure the entire surface has been sanded uniformly before applying the first coat.
Before starting, ensure your workspace is well-ventilated and dry. The product is primarily compatible with unfinished or previously oiled hardwoods. Always test on an inconspicuous area first if you are unsure of the wood's current finish.
