Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure walls are clean, dry, smooth, and free from old wallpaper or loose paint. Prepare the surface with a suitable primer if necessary.
- Measure and cut wallpaper sections according to wall dimensions, allowing for pattern repeat and trimming.
- Apply wallpaper paste evenly to the back of the paper or directly to the wall, following the manufacturer's paste-the-wall or paste-the-paper instructions.
- Hang the first strip plumb (perfectly vertical) using a spirit level. Smooth out any air bubbles with a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool, working from the center outwards.
- Align subsequent strips carefully, ensuring the pattern repeat matches precisely before smoothing.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp trimming knife.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls, including living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, and hallways. It is not recommended for high-moisture areas such as bathrooms or kitchens unless specifically rated for such environments (check product packaging).
Care:
- To clean, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive moisture, as this can damage the paper and print.
- Dust regularly with a soft brush or feather duster.
