Full details

This kenable Modular Plug Crimping Tool (TCP) is designed for telecommunications professionals and DIY enthusiasts who need to create secure and reliable network connections. Its key benefit is providing precise crimping for multiple modular plug types, including 4P4C, 6P4C, and 6P6C, with an integrated stripper for efficient cable preparation. Troubleshooting

Plug not crimped securely

Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the correct slot on the tool and that the handles are squeezed firmly until they stop.

Wires not making proper contact

Verify that the wires were inserted completely into the plug before crimping and that the wire order is correct.

Stripper blade is dull or ineffective

The stripper is integrated and not designed for user replacement. If it becomes ineffective, consider a replacement tool.

Tool feels stiff or difficult to operate

Check for debris in the moving parts. Clean gently and ensure all components move freely. Lubrication is generally not required for ABS tools.
